Hello all - 

We hope you are all doing well and staying safe.

In our most recent message, we shared that May 2 was the target date for Opening Day for UMYBSL. Unfortunately that date must change as the statewide Pennsylvania Stay-at-Home Order has been extended to Friday, May 8. We are not setting a new date for Opening Day, and instead will await direction from state/local officials regarding the ability of amateur athletic organizations to commence operations.  

The situation related to COVID-19 continues to be fluid, and our board has decided to also remain that way for the immediate health and safety of our community. Many of the neighboring leagues are taking a similar approach. Our goal is to offer a 2020 baseball, softball and t-ball season, given the right circumstances. We are currently considering a few different options and have put together a 3 question survey, as your input will help inform the decision that best meets the needs of our community.  All responses are anonymous.
