2/11 Optionsal Prep Practice, 2/16 Try-outs
Subject: 2012 8 Year-old Travel Team Try-outs - Updated Date and Time
Due to a scheduling conflict the try-outs for the 8U Upper Makefield
Travel Team will now take place on Thursday, February 16th from 5:00
to 6:30 at Big Leagues Academy. Please arrive 10 minutes early for
registration. Please remember to bring your glove, bat and helmet
(if you have one). Please have your child wear sneakers and bring a
water bottle.
Grounded in skill fundamentals, hard work, sportsmanship and fun, the
8U Upper Makefield Travel Team will develop a best-in-class product
that represents our community well both on and off the field.
In preparation for this try-out, we will be holding an OPTIONAL
practice Saturday, February 11th from 7:00 to 8:00 PM at Big Leagues Academy. All are welcome.

Coach Matt Schram and his Council Rock North baseball staff are generously hosting two free coaching clinics for UMYBL coaches. They will take place on:
Sunday, Jan 22 (6pm – 9pm)
Sunday, Feb 5 (10am – 1pm) RESCHEDULED BY DEMAND - Super Bowl!
The sessions will be held in the Council Rock North auxiliary gym, with its entrance adjacent to the tennis courts.
Please join us for what is always tremendously informative, time well-spent.

If your answer is “YES”, then you will want to attend the “ASO Umpire Development School/Clinic listed below. The clinic is designed for beginners who want to learn how to umpire baseball! Instruction includes one and two-man mechanics, handling situations, troublesome rules, game management and on field clinic.
